Interpreting the Parameter Estimates

 

Intercept (a0):               The average value of income when all independent variables are equal to "0".

 

Education (b1):             When we hold experience constant, a one unit change in education results in an average change in income of  2.9k ($2,900).

 

Experience (b2):           When we hold education constant, a one unit change in experience results in an average change in income of  .692k ($692).
